The church is not just a building you pass on the street. The Church is the assembled people of God. As "living stones" we are built up together as a spiritual house to offer praise and worship to God according to Biblical truth (I Peter 2:5; John 4:23).

At South Bay House Of God, we are not about politics, power struggles, and personal agendas. Instead, we are endeavoring to build on the understanding that we are The Lord's people. We follow His plans, promote His purposes, and operate in His ways. The focus is on Jesus because we belong to Him. He is perfect and knows what is best! God has given us His Word (the Bible) to know His plans, purposes, and ways.

Our ministry philosophy is rooted in the Biblical definition of Discipleship:  "And Jesus came and said to them, ^'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'"  (Matthew 28:18-20 ESV). Our purpose is to foster a loving and safe church culture where people from all backgrounds can grow in the knowledge and worship of God through Jesus Christ.
